... and pampering by the super-friendly staff. Both of the pedicurists had been on this cruise before and had nothing but rave reviews.

After our toes were dealt with, it was lunch time so we schlepped our luggage over to Lone Star Tacos, just across the street. The breakfast taco and barbacoa beef taco were muy deliciosa.

Weather is a broken record, cloudy with a threat of rain. About an 80% threat of rain this afternoon. So we made plans for the morning.

... we pulled into the turn lane. There were 3 lanes going into the center and only one gate open. They need help here!! Twenty minutes later we got through the gate to the parking lot. There were lots of school groups, most very well behaved. It was the kids with families that seemed to run everywhere like wild children. Oh well!

... where to start our exploration. We also needed to do a little shopping for some cold weather items and headed off to an outlet mall to find Sheree some boots, a sweater and long sleeved shirts for both of us. Sheree got a hair cut from Frank from Iran in the Paris Hair Salon. We also ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant called Sergio's. The food was quite good but Ted thought the salsa was especially good and couldn’t get enough of it.

... up, the neighbourhood gets slightly better but not that much. The hotel was tucked away with high walls and warnings about trespassing. I enter and rather then an open office or lobby I talk through a glass window into a booth. I have had too many hotel rooms that stunk like smoke so I made sure that I had a non smoking room. The Indian who was working in the booth gave me a key and it was on the second floor. I headed up. I walked in and it stunk of smoke. I went back down ...
