... is in charge of launching the spaceships, Houston is in charge of Mission Control. In the world of space nerds, these are two very different things! We took the team tour around to the different buildings and saw the original Apollo Control Center. It's a lot more history in Houston, which was a nice compliment to my tour. ... seven national parks: Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Olympic, Crater Lake, and Death Valley, and traveling to a bunch of cities from Vegas to all the way up California to Washington state, so we're HOPEFULLY going to use this blog to post our honeymoon adventures and share photos and stories and inside jokes.

So... the point is... stay tuned, there eventually will be more to come, it just won't be for awhile :)

... WE are amazed, that, for a 8 1/2 year old coach with 74,000 miles, it is completely, spotlessly perfect inside. Nothing seems to have been used or abused in any way. Even the felt in the window sills, which gather and hold dirt and dust horribly, look brand new! Hard to figure out how they put 74,000 miles on it without using anything but the driver's seat!

... and Deacon had a wreck in. Other cool stops was Churchill Downs, Cumberland Falls, Cliingman’s Dome, and Chimney Rock. Of course the Biltmore estate was indescribable and two of our favorite activities were white water rafting and driving a Segway. But what was our favorite? ... craft into position to dock with the International Space Station. Another thing we saw was a 'robonaut' - a robot torso on wheels (a bit like a horse in shape). This robonaut has a head, torso, arms, hands and fingers. The fingers are designed in such a way that they are able to turn a page in a book with tearing or missing a page and type a full page of text without errors! Quite a feat of engineering!
