Hi all, ok I am having fun in America but I do have to make a comment about the taps. We have stayed in about 6 or 7 places now and every single shower is a new adventure. Sometime the taps move up, some times down, the current one moves up and slides around. Seriously can they not make there minds up...sigh..at least we can normally work it out. We went through the Smith part of the Redwood National Forrest and then on down the main Redwood Forrest where we took pictures of largest redwood 222.2 feet in diameter and originally 300 feet high. Spectacular. Then to Fort Bragg after a hair raising trip over 2 mountains on US 1001. In Fort Bragg we had difficulty finding a motel to spend night. Found one but expensive.

... road for about a mile before finding a roadside parking space. No matter - we were set on seeing these huge trees that everyone talked about. And I have to admit, it was worth the $14 price of admission (and mile walk to get there). Wow - these Redwood trees are enormous and majectic. ... to happen & this was discovered when making a claim our insurance would actually be void... Surprise! So we explained that we're living out of the motorhome and have no fixed address - she was really nice, she got our situation totally and couldn't do more to help us. In the end she rang the underwriters to ask for clarification that what she'd set up for us was all correct and to get authorisation that we could have that address listed and our insurance would all be ok. ... Much nicer weather today, although still only a high of 65. Went past a giant statue of Paul Bunyan & Babe his blue Ox. Stayed in a campground in Klamath,  right beside the Klamath River. Had an awesome campfire right beside the river.  Wednesday. What a morning! From the platform where we had the campfire, I was able to watch & get a couple of photos of, a bald eagle fishing (until a territorial Osprey chased it away), pelicans, shags & herons all fishing too.
