Wells Hotels - Reviews and Rates

Today we drove through 4 states, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Nevada. Driving through Nevada was very desolate. We arrived at our campsite after six hours. We then ate dinner and got groceries. Then we went to a park to play. -Adam Mom beat our butts in tetherball :( :(

We left the KOA in Vegas about 10am and headed up to Highway 93 which goes straight through the Great Basin Desert in Nevada. The craggy brown mountains on either side of the highway, and the scrubby land with stunted cabbage-tree type plants are actually quite pleasant on the eyes, but it is indeed a desert. When we packed our mules, it was 8degC and sunny. The road we were on was perfect. Nice and curvy with mountains and a roaring river on the side. This road took us from 5000 ft to 8700ft and 2degC.
