Day one is complete and we are relaxing at the Bates Motel (I mean Peninsula Inn) in beautiful Marathon, Ontario. We got to sleep in this morning. Check out was still at 11:00 though so we got underway to go see the Kakabeka Falls. Allison was not feeling well so Jamie, Melissa and I took a walk down to the falls while Allison relaxed in the van.

Rainy and cold in fact while traveling and listening to CBC radio we learned that this is the record coldest July ON RECORD ever!!!!  We both looked at the mirror which registers the outside Temp and it read 11 C.. Normal is 21 C.
