Mansfield Hotels - Reviews and Rates

Well, today didn't turn out too bad. Lorna went to Nottingham to go and catch up with her work mates in the afternoon. She starts back to work on the 1st June. And, talking of work, the place I went for the interview yesterday rang me today and offered me the job!!!! They must be desperate I suppose!! Anyway, this is great news before going away...

Today was all about unpacking our bags and opening a years worth of post. No major surprises, so all was well. Tonight we just stayed in at Lorna's parents and enjoyed a nice home cooked steak and wedges.

I thought I would post a rough plan of where we hope to go on this trip. As many of you more established travellers are aware, this will probably change everyday that goes by, but it's a rough guide. As expected, we have had our China Odyssey tour itinerary amended to bypass Chengdu. The only change is that we cant go to the Panda sanctuary near Chengdu because of the major earthquake that occured. Instead we will be visiting two other towns in China. After we have finished on the Yangtze river we will head straight to Xian instead of Chengd...
