We decided to drive to Bay of Fires for a sort of dry run-to scope out the beach and see how long it would take us to make the drive on the big day ! All I can say is OH MY GOODNESS HOW ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS BAY OF FIRES IS ! Now I understand why everyone just says oh and ah when they see it. Well, the advertising and postcards definatly do it justice, of course I'm talking about Wineglass Bay. The walk up to it is definatly worth it, but I don't think I would trade the serenity (Castle reference here) of Friendly Beaches for the two school groups and numerous other people walking down the trail who had obviously camped down in the B...
