Headed out of TX, onward to CO and back to the Midwest...our first stop was a quick tour through Las Vegas, NM an overnight campout in an field at Storrie Lake State Park just north of town. I recommend the renovated, lovely train depot downtown--good tourist info there. And the state park was calm and tranquil. Viva Las Vegas!

Today was more exciting Vegas stuff. Circus Circus has its own amusmemt park so after breakfast at 10 we headed to see what it had to offer. We got an all day pass to make the most of it, then headed in to check out the different rides.
