After a late start, we headed up to Maine. We stopped for a few hours in Ogunquit and ate at the Lobster Shack at Perkin's point. We browsed the shops and bought a clock for the nursery (our first nursery purchase). Nice town but VERY touristy. We followed Route One up the coast and checked out Portland and continued on to Freeport. Here we did ...

A bit of trivia for you? Where is the real Freeport?? I didn't know it was in Maine either, but we found it...and it is just like the one in Fleetwood...a shopping village! This one was built curtesy of LL Bean (a very commercial camping outlet), and has loads of cool shops like 'Horny Toad' and a whole shop dedicated to mooses! Plus the usual b...
