Well after leaving lima we set off on a 19 hour Journey to Tumbes where we cross the boarder in to Equador. This was the MOST difficult border crossing and I am pooped! For any fellow travelers heading to Peru... do NOT and I repeat do NOT cross at the Tumbes border! It is a royal pain in the tushy. I won't bore you with the details- but in a nutshell... I had to go back and forth and back and forth before getting both my exit and entrance stamp. Argh...
