So a bit more on Papeete.. The place is bustling, morning, noon, and night. Traffic is always heavy, especially along the main waterfront promenade. Though I have to say, the pedestrian is KING! Crossings are everywhere, and you just have to look like you might cross the road, and cars, vans, trucks, and scooters will come to a screeching halt. ...

Preliminary views of Tahiti, in my opinion were "amazing." Shame it didnt last.
