My room is clean and welcoming (though there's only Thai TV...ha ha), the people (from 16 different countries) are amazing and the food is to die for....especially the desserts. Every year Surin holds an elephant round-up, it is fantastic to see so many elephants all in the one place, must have been over 300 elephants in total. After the main show the streets were packed with elephants walking up and down the main street of the town. Will add pics later, the connection is slow in this towwn.
