Cloudy. Early train to Thun. Adrian met us at the station. Walked through old town, up to castle, down by lake. Boat to Spiez where Adrian left us. Went on to Interlaken. Took boat on Briensee. Brief walk, return to Interlaken. Met Monika for drinks and dined at small cafe. Returned via train.

Semi-cloudy. Took mountain rail from Montreaux thru Gstaad to Spiez. Lovely day and trip. Saw Swiss Open Tennis. Met Adrian and had quick lunch at our hotel. Visited chateau and church.
