Day 1: Sunday

13-Apr-07 We headed out of Rockhampton (a little later than planned) hoping to stop at the Capricorn caves enroute to Airlie beach. We arrived at the site of the Capricorn Caves and were met by a wonderful sight of Kangaroos trying to shelter from the pouring rain. We had originally planned to drive all the way to Shute Harbour, unload the gear, then drive the 30km back to the Proserpine Airport to meet Pas.
