well after a 5 and 1/2 hr bus journey out of kl we made it up to the highlands..really brought back memories of ecuador or costa rica...up and up round and round the hillside to get here..but thankfully no sheer drops of the side..but still the odd landslide as it rains everday up here..we were booked in to daniels lodge but wow....what a dump.....

after an impressive bus tour i arrived in Tanah Rata, set in the Cameron Highlands and supposed to be the backpacker and tourist hotspot all over. that is not an understatement - tourists everywhere you look... never mind.

so the primary reason why i went was that i wanted to have some sportive activities... i need something to do!!!! man...

Just arrived high up in the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. ange now better and booked on a jungle treck tomorrow to see the #rd largest flower in the world!!. It is a 2 hour treck through the jungle but hoping to stop along the wat to swim at a waterfall.
Completed the day which was fantastic although treck was harder than everyone thought.
