Quy Nhon Hotels - Reviews and Rates

Da haben wir ein kleines Paradis entdeckt :-) Quy Nhon liegt wie Nha Trang an der Kueste des chinesischen Meeres, ist aber noch voellig ohne Tourismus. Kilometerlange einsame Straende, schoene Promenanden und ueberall hat es Fischerboote. Die meisten Touristen fahren hier einfach vorbei...ist halt kein Highlight im Lonely Planet :-)

A few hours down the coast Quy Nhon resembles a 1950's French beach town. Built stretching down a long yellow sand beach dotted with circular basket boats the town has a significant fishing industry and lots and lots of seafood. As the water here is less than pristine we hired a scooter and drove half an hour along a gorgeous windy coastal road...

I should have known this was going to be no easy bus trip.... I should have known, when the driver took a newspaper and wound it into his side window to shade the sun. Our next stop is Quy Nhon, a quiet coastal town. Our hotel in Hoi An organized for someone to drive us there. It was as cheap to do it this way as it is to go on the train so we took advantage of the door to door service. The 5 hour journey was uneventful apart from me waking myself up, and scaring Ben and the driver, with a massive snore! Oh ye...
