Unfortunately the tour books don't inform you that our main reason for driving across to Port Augusta, the Pichi Richi Railway, doesn't run on weekdays - only weekends from Easter to November.  Instead we headed for Quorn, the small town from which the trains depart, and as he trains were locked in their sheds and we couldn't even catch a glimps...
