La Quiaca Hotels - Reviews and Rates

A touch of dajavu today, down the road turn left, sand patch and railway track to cross. We need some fuel and are nicely tucked up, there are two prices, for non nationals the special price of locals x 3!
We head out of town towards some roadworks which go all the way from Tupiza to La Quiaca, Bolivia is trying hard to tarmac all main routes...

Me and Kat took the bus from Salta to La Quiaca, right on the border of Bolivia and Argie. Spent the night in the small town...then woke up to make the walk to Bolivia.

Nothing much to note. Debit Card stopped working, has been fun trying to get that figured out.

Viva Bolivia!! We are excited, feels like trip is starting all over...

Got onto the bus in Tucuman which was brimming with Bolivians. It was quite clear the bus had already been traveling for some time as it smelt like a school gym changing room. There was also a woman and child sitting in our seats, they swiftly moved, but kindly left their crumbs all over our seats from their midnight snack.
