A short excursion to Pakistan's capital before heading up to the Karakoram mountains!

next day i was in my home city, Islamabad, my proper packing for mountains starts, took out my tent, my sleeping bags, packed them in a firm ruksack and now its time for gilgit, i always recommend this travel by road inspite of taking a flight. though the drive is hectic but it gives the most superb views of karakoram, and himalayas.

So - onto my fellow volunteers! I've briefly introduced Miranda - a real character. She is also an HR Manager so how good is that - we're already trying to organise for her to come to an HR forum meeting that's held in Islamabad every month! She is going to be based in Peshawar which is about a 3 hours trip from here (ie close by!)and I'm hoping...
