So we are finally back in civilisation (if you can call it that when the @ or spacebar on the keyboard don{t work properly and I have just been served raw fish for lunch!). Unfortunately the hotel we wanted to stay at in Ica (with its own airstrip!) was full but we have an adequate,much cheaper option along the road.

Hola, So, after our wintery island trip, we made it out of there and got on another bus and arrived in this amazing oasis of a place. The wee town is surrounded by rolling massive sand dunes and was roasting hot! Our hotel had a swimming pool and everything, we were so pleased to feel warm again!! We even ended up in bikinis!
