Established in 13th. century the Vijaynagar empire had a glorious run for almost 250 years. Hampi was the proud capital of the empire during its golden days in the beginning 1500.

We stayed here only for a small time and took a rickshaw to Hampi. This was my first time on a rickshaw, but otherwise nothing noteworthy.
