This day I took the S-Tog out to Hillerod where sits the Frederiksborg Slot. Its a beautiful castle right on a lake, and there are also extensive gardens. Got up at 7.15am and had breakfast at the hotel then walked down to central station and after working out how to get a ticket caught the train to Hillerød to see Frederiksborg Castle.
