The girls are missing Occy – badly. Any dog they come across they want to adopt. The couple we camped next to had a maltesse cross muted yapper, which the girls took for little walks and plays. Once we got away from the dog we headed for Geraldton to settle for two nights and stock up on food and fuel.

Finally on our way on the Monday public holiday. We left in the morning
and got to Geraldton around lunch time. So much for taking it easy… we
were just so keen to get to Gnaraloo and get into the holiday mode. We

Stayed overnight in Geraldton. Reminds me a bit of Mandurah.

We found a great little spot to stay at Galena Bridge. One side is a 24hr rest stop, but on the other side there is a small area to make a camp. There is a little wier, which was not so little the second night we stayed there.

Geraldton On the way from Perth to Geraldton I took a rather large detour to the Pinnacles within the Nambung National Park. It's about 250km north of Perth. Rising mysteriously from the dune sands are thousands of limestone pillars. The raw material for the limestone of the pinnacles came from sea shells in an earlier epoch rich in marine life....

Geraldton was once again just a stop over. Something definitely worth mentioning however is 1. Ozzie's are the worst at giving directions and 2. Frank does not enjoy driving over sand dunes and large rocks! You can pretty much guess the story from that!
