Today we visited the 2nd deepest canyon in the world, Colca Canyon. The neighboring Cotahuasi Canyon is only about 100m deeper. Having never seen the Grand Canyon I had no comparison to make. Colca Canyon is more than twice as deep as the Grand Canyon (3400m), and if you are on top of the mountain range across the canyon, it is 6 times as deep. ...
