Day 10: Florence
... and the writer of the Divine Comedy. Come ON!! I geeked out a bit. Not to mention, the cathedral itself was stunning, as we the cloisters and courtyard outside. We headed back to the apartment and Mom cooked us a fantastic pot roast with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions, and a salad. Day 20 - The Road to Florence
... get there at about 5:45. Driving to Florence is not as easy as the drive from Lake Como to Venice. There are only two lanes, and there are a variety of driving styles and ability.
