Goroka to Madang

The Bird of Paradise Hotel is old run down and ugly. The hot water is intermittent and the bookings process totally failed. The pool out the back looks rundown and the rooms were barely lit. Mine had a stuffed crocodile on the floor. I had a two room self contained flat with broken chair etc. But from what I am told it is the best in the area.
