Day 29 - Quebec City

A travel blog entry by fis

Another day exploring Quebec City today. I had a slowish start today, I had some breakfast at the hotel then jumped on the bus to the edge if the old city. I walked down rue Saint-Jean, I don't know how I had missed this street every other time I had wandered, it was full of great little shops, from the typical tourist shops to regular shops. (Furnace back on ca 0630; comfy 68 in about 15 mins.) OTOH, one can tell we've moved Northward. Dawn is seriously later than at home and sunset, ...

Northward ... Into blazing Autumn

... WalMart, since all the campgrounds in this area have closed for the season. (thank you, WalMart) (I hope our blinds keep out the light from all the parking lot lights!) Tomorrow we drive into Ontario, where the predominant language is English. In the meantime, the French-speaking people of Quebec have been gracious, patient and helpful, and I'm trying to learn a few more French ...
