... which we rode along for about 25 km. Although this would add 4 or 5 km to our trip, it was just beautiful with little summer cabins, fishing and swimming platforms, and picnic areas. The path was excellent to, although gravelly it was hard packed and smooth. ... Chateau in Bertangles which is a little village not far from Amiens. I found it by looking at the camp sites on the app I downloaded which has proved invaluable. The French people who we meet are continuing to be friendly and helpful and all love to try their English while we try our un pur French. ... to have all we need and once we fix up the niggly things it will be perfect for us for the next four and a half months.
