... br> We reached Notre Dame and headed straight for the entrance to the dome. The line stretched down the block and past the church. Mario decided that, as of today, Paris would no longer be the city of lights, but the City of Lines. I think it works. We looped around the back of the cathedral, walking through the park and admiring flower gardens that are still in bloom. We watched a man crank a pipe organ upon which ...

... in the museum. Breathtaking!

We walked through the Tuileries and over one of the many bridges full of locks and we also did some shopping on the Rue de Commerce. It's been a lovely, relaxed day in Paris just enjoying the beauty of the city

Tonight we are having a late snack instead of dinner and heading to the Champs de Mars to see the Eiffel Tower lit up.

Tomorrow we are going to Versailles. It's open for sure.....I checked!

... 8217;s ID would work and headed off. When we arrived we took pictures of everything! It is so beautiful I can’t even describe how thrilling it is to be in a place like it. We toured the entire palace and then went outside to the grounds, and gardens. We found a bench and ate our lunch of fruit, and bread (with cheese for me) and then started walking towards a garden. We walked down all the paths and then came to ...
