    ... our first stop for the day. This is meant to be one of the prettiest towns in France so it will be good to see if it lives up to its name! Yes it did! A lovely medieval town.     Today is the day. The day we board out long awaited cruise. A very exciting day for us both, a sad day too, because we said goodbye to Basel and the Hotel St Goddard.

    ... us to a trip on a ferry across the lake, which was a nice surprise! France is always good, feels close to home and we've missed their baking. We're at a small site run by 'Stan' just south of Nancy. It's all NL here (we have to call the that now as Gen only refers to people by the letters on their car) only one or two D's and no GB's (that's what Gen seeks out!) We've had the odd letter that we have to look up - there is S, DK, B, BL, ...
