... mall seemed to be more for the locals rather than a touristy type mall (or at least we thought so!) - just the way we like it!

We checked out the Izutsuya Department store there - the top floor had some very spectacular artifacts, crystal and china, which were not only beautiful, but also came with some spectacular prices!

We wandered over to the Ryufukji Temple, a few blocks from the mall, through the side streets. The entry way lined with a ...

... taxi driver(!) drove our group back to the Yamaguchi Grand Hotel. 10 of us decided to finish the evening with a visit to the Izakaya Nonta Pub on the lower level, we actually closed the place at 11 pm. We had a few drinks, shared some appetizers including some edamame beans, kimchi, cheese sticks, deep fried chicken bites and some deep fried blowfish.

Another full day comes to an end with happy spirits, happy bellies and good friends!

Yasutoshi brought Haruna into the reception hall to give her away to Robert. Yasutoshi looked very sharp in his Traditional clothing and Haruna very beautiful in her Western wedding dress.

The reception hall was set up simply but elegantly – big fresh flower bowls and ...

... for each of us. We took the JR Line to Shin-Osaka station to get our tickets and catch the Shinkansen (Bullet Train). Upon arriving at the station at about 9am, we discovered they were all sold out of tickets until the 3 pm train. We forgot it was Silver Week, where there are three National Holidays in the week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and everyone was travelling. At least I had internet in the station ...
