      Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

      ... and historical - the houses built into the rocks, the riverlet running down the hill by the houses, the steep , narrow walkways (many too narrow for anything by a motorcycle and pedestrians), the historical paving etc etc. it was such a maze of little alleyways and ancient steps.
