... the conversation continued. On the other side, we parted ways. I had a misstep catching up with the group. It hurt for the rest of the day and was swollen abit, but no bruise. We now had to climb up to our bus, which took us to the Borje Restaurant outside the park. The restaurant was part of a complex that included a hotel and camping. Today has been an adventure. We first had to get a taxi (our first of this trip) to get to the airport to pick up the rental car. The Rijeka airport is actually on an island about 20-30 minutes away from town. At least we got to see more of the surrounding area! From there, we drove west to the city of Pula.
