And then we just spent a few hours walking around the town and the bay. This is another boating town, albeit much larger than Rovinj. All the tour boats are closed up for the season or undergoing repairs. ... a large number of the local twits in their boy racer cars out on it.

On a number of occasions they would come racing up behind and sit within a few feet from the back of my bike and desperate to get passed. They then would take any chance they could to get passed putting their and my lives in danger of a head on crash. Most of the time if a car came up behind I simply pulled over and took a few photos just to get them off my tail.

... and aimlessly strolled around. It was much smaller than the old town at Dubrovnik, you could walk from one side to the other in about 5 minutes. It was very quaint with all it's little alley ways and shops. We wandered back to our room, luckily I have a fantastic sense of direction because Darcy didn't have a clue how to get back! Leaving Istria, we just happened to stop in Senj for the night, but it proved to be a pleasant seaside town. As an example of how friendly Croatians are, the man at the desk of the main hotel let us use their computer to print our Ryanair boarding pass, even though we weren't staying there.
