Rijeka
On the train running close to the Croatian coastline, we passed a couple of small towns that line the shore toward Rijeka. I'd almost recommend you hop off the train a stop or two earlier, especially if you're a beach goer. Finally arriving into the port town, it reminded me of Esperance but with lesser beaches, a new currency and a wicked castle. We wandered down the port and began looking for our home for the evening. The Guestroom was hidden away on the ...
Long drives along Dalmatian Coast

We hadn’t even realised that Croatia isn’t part of the EU yet. It turned out the check in lady had made us worry for no reason as more ink was stamped onto a page in our passport and we stepped into Croatia.
We stopped in Zadar, where we booked a ...
High speed ferry to this beautiful town
... and steep stairs to the third floor of the building, took off running to the boat. He had no luck. The following morning he tried again by calling the ferry company but they reported no camera had been found. So cursing humankind I resolved to put it behind me and search for a new one when we get to Ljubjlana.
We had to go have a drink to forget the whole sorry ...
