      ... blaze with yellows and gold. The next town we went through was Pagosa Springs which is famous for hot springs there. We did not stop since we still had a long way to go. So after, we started to ascend the 10857ft Wolf Creek Pass.  This pass is a steep 6.8% maximum grade on both sides.  Near the top, it started snowing!  It is a beautiful pass, but a little scary going down.  There was snow at the peak with golden aspens all around. ...

      September 16, 2014 (Tuesday)  We  left Bentonville at 8:55 am to miss the traffic which we did.  We arrived in Amarillo, TX at 6:30 pm.  We do not travel very fast since we are pulling our PUP.  (60-65 mph at most) We traveled south from Bentonville to I40 then traveled west to Amarillo.       Up very early for flight from Jackson to DFW then home. Girls are getting dropped off in St Louis at their Dad's then Charley is home to Dublin. Hopefully their travel will be ok. Delta is trying to make it diff. Some tears shed and the Memo wave at the airport. Great vacation and perfect family to travel with. I am a very blessed man. We made it home safe.
