... as we arrived at boarder of Austria/ Czech Republic. Arrived in this UNESCO world heritage site @ 10.30 after a short break the border. Weather was overcast & coolish for what we have been experiencing but perfect for travelling. Yes is a beautiful place as with so many places we have visited so far. Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Very friendly and entertaining.

It had taken us about the same time to walk from Radanov to Schenkenfelden as it had our family, although ...

We came out of the forest to a large sloping field, as often occurs you follow a well defined track into a field and the track becomes many that just peter out and you can't find the continuation on the other side. We scouted around the lower edge near the creek and a sign - POZOR - the far side - the top. With our maps out trying to work out the contours, compass directions ( I'm actually not great working a compass but did a good job ...
