... firmly but nicely we were in Czechoslovakia so the Czech way was with bread and their sausages were nicer and cheaper!! We didn't like the Czech way as much as the bread was very heavy so we just had the sausage. Russell had a hunk and I mean a hunk, of warm ham. We then set off for our waffle and chocolate. Carolyn was like an excited little girl, she had remembered this shop from her previous visits. We had ...

We scouted around the lower edge near the creek and a sign - POZOR - the far side - the top. With our maps out trying to work out the contours, compass directions ( I'm actually not great working a compass but did a good job ...

There are no internet cafe's in Austria - only wi-fi so without a laptop makes it difficult. The hotel staying in has let me on their reception computer for a short while so will write just a little bit & continue later.

Well the ' Lilacs H K R' made it safely across the border. This is our code name ( english version of Serik - the underground movement ) and are now in Bad Leonfelden ( near Schenkenfelden ) as no ...
