After our trip to Solingen and Cologne between Christmas and New Years we returned to Bielefeld where we spent our time exploring what the area had to offer.
A couple of the highlights included;

With the passing of Nathan's dad we have had to change our plans somewhat and have returned to Bielefeld where Traci and the children will stay with the Rosenthal’s until he returns. So funny, on the drive over I came very close to the town where my surname comes from, in the Detmold / Bielefeld region. But I didn't visit that particular village again, it had been quite a long drive as it was and that would have cost me an extra hour.
Bad Pyrmont... a resort town for senior citizens. I was about 30 years below the average age in that town! :-) But that made it feel very safe and mellow.
