    ... good rate. Although we were insistent in paying for the hotel, Gernot would not accept anything.
    Well I do suppose that we did give him accommodation a few times in Africa and also New Zealand when he visited there. We were very appreciative of the hospitality.

    We decide to stay in Arzen for another night and explore this area more rather than head north. There is so much to see and do here all within easy driving distance. Herman our host has given us a truck load of brochures and maps and information its hard to know where to start.     ... Allan, Allan youtube clip of this funny animal calling for Allan is a bit of an in joke with the girls at work, (love my work girls) so we were determined to get a shot of him. He didn't make it easy though, he kept disappearing into a hole so it took some time!

    We walked around quaint Bielefeld for a while, had a yummy pasta dinner and headed back to the hotel. David was especially tired after close to 4 hours of driving concentration.
