... city being mostly Protestant) and in fact 80% of the property in Rapperswil is owned by the Catholic Church. Marcello took us to the towns Rose Garden, showed us around a little of the old town and then let us loose for an hour which included our lunch time. On our wander around the grounds of a church, we found the sweetest cemetery where every grave was so different to the last and adorned with flowers and small trinkets to keep the dearly departed company. We had a lovely dinner last night at our hotel restaurant. I had baked bass, Eldon had mushroom risotto, and we also had a side salad and a side of green beans. We were in Italy so it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.

We had a lovely buffet breakfast this morning as well. Eldon and I both wonder how these places can afford to stay open and serve such nice meals. I don't think there were more than 3 couples staying here last night.

They said no, it was back the other way. So we sat at a sweet little bridge over ...

We are still at the station. And yes, being me, I checked the station board, the train flashing board and I asked a porter! I'm on the right train. There was no one on this carriage when I got on. It is filling fast. I think it is the only First Class carriage on this one. We ...

A Grumpy Old Man....and some great scenery

... around 10kW-hrs, but 20kW-hrs, never. The
guy never showed us the start reading (scribbled on some scrap of paper in
pencil) so it could have been anything. He caught me washing the van, and I’m
sure he took exception to it too, so not surprised he tried to diddle us.
Overall, not a nice man.

Drove out of Dalaas in a huff and left the area, heading
up the Montafon Valley, avoiding the Arlberg Tunnel. Still had to pay ...
