    ... the experience up the Rhein a ways and then into the Lahn river valley to Bad Ems. Think wood-covered valley, a meandering river with locks and weirs, villages with riverside cafes and biergarten and castles and small churches perched on rocky crags. That's the one.     ... STORES, FARINA AND 4711. These two competitors offer premiums cents at great cost.


    We returned to the ship for a late lunch, a nap, and then started to pack suitcases. We left port about 3 pm and sailed all night to our last stop, AMSTERDAM. After dinner, the crew of the boat put on a hilarious crew show, which left us all in a happy mood.

    ... to spare. Back on bus for a continuous run through to Amsterdam. We seamlessly bypassed border into Netherlands, there was no border. Love Netherlands I have to say, even though it was raining and really windy. Beautifully green, animals back in numbers in the pastures. Very picturesque little villages, uniquely Dutch. Each of the European country towns have had a distinctive look even if they are only a few kilometres apart. The Dutch are by and large very tidy people ...

    ... call us...one of the challenges of Bill and Barb traveling intertnationally...& too cheap to pay for roaming and skype calls require internet access., We found an internet cafe , left an email and messages on the numbers we had for Boy in Hawaii and Frankfurt. And then we waited. After thirty minutes an email response & said he will pick us up at 7:15 in front of the main station! Perfect, love when a plan comes together. ...
