On arrival, Annette checked that our tickets purchased online last evening were OK and found that we had travel from Alexander Platz to Berlin Central and then to Dresden. All good. The trip to central station was without drama and our first port of call was a cafe. We found one that served Segafrado coffee. Another warm, sunny day, and for us a rest day. We were up early, as usual, walked to the train station at 9am to check email and bill payments (there is free email here while the booking office is open, unlike the hotel where you have to pay). This would mean leaving for Bayreuth from Dresden rather than Konigstein as planned. We may be able to get a bus tour out to the 'Saxon Switzerland' rather than cycling there. It all depends on what we see from the train when we go to Prague on Wednesday.

I think skinny jeans are definitely in over here. Maybe not like SUPER skinny jeans where you can't tell a person is wearing pants, but definitely tighter jeans, not that baggy stuff we have. I have not seen anyone's underwear because their pants are too baggy.
I think I have only seen three pick-up trucks while I've been here. Hurray for people self conscious about their vehicles consumption and output!
