Graz is Good

A travel blog entry by kevinandstephne

Just a really quick post for the evening... We met with Marjorie and the kids along with her mom and dad this morning for coffee and one last goodbye. After a stroll through the market we hopped in the car and drove up here to Graz. Our hotel, the Hotel Zum Dom is fabulous and right in the old pedestrian center. ... most of it had gone.

In the evening Andi and I went out for dinner. He was disappointed that I didn't go out during the day to explore his city Graz. So he decided we'd go for a walk afterwards. ... t an indicator. But I guess carrying a hockey bag for 8 years finally paid off.

The best part was that the bus basically took me back to where my plane from Calgary originally landed (woo!) But I made it, sweaty mess and al. The captain has informed me that it is "winter in Graz at -2" (that's cute). Also remind me to fly Lufthansa all the time, they don't serve dinky pretzels you have to share with 10 other people, you get an entire...sandwich.
