    ... woman ,began to build their own chiesa, adorned with mosaics and add sparkles to those already there .Theodoro even built a few of her own.
    The Ravenna of today is a small town , but has 8 Unesco world heritage sites of Byzantine mosaics. As we all know how I love glittery things so....it was on the list of " must do's".

    ... We did not buy our tickets before hand. You can always buy at ticket once you are on the train. We did that on our train to Bologna and ended paying more. Once we got to Bologna we tried to get tickets to Florence but all the trains where sold out. We were not sure what todo. We didn't want to spend the day in Bologna as we had already been there.     We stopped for a top up at Lido di Classe, a spot just off the beach. It was hot. We had a chat to the lady in the cafe. Two of her daughters live in Sydney and a niece, a nurse at the Children's Hospital Cancer Ward in Brisbane. Tis a small world. She was lovely and wished us all the best for the remainder of our trip.

    Onto another topic. Bikinis. I have come to realize that any female, regardless of shape or size can wear a bikini. One lady we spotted can be best described as follows.     ... hats on. The rescue craft are a stand on wooden flat boat with two oars. We had one of them in the water near us. He was a real tosser! We enjoyed the water and the swim before we headed back poolside. I realized how hot it was when ventured out of the water. The water close to the beach was hot, real hot.
