We also went through Vukovar which suffered severe damage during the balkan wars. V ery sad to see. Some houses deserted and others fixed. Some big water tower and factory very badly damaged.

2, yep - special savoury one in Zagreb, then for snack last night and then again for breakfast!!
3, transport - bus and car (trams in Zagreb)
4, lost property-nothing more I dont think!!! (certainly not fat thats for sure -perhaps lost shape!!)
5, money - not too much - massage in Zagreb and some food.

... This "route" is way too tough for a road bike; normal useage is rough farm tracks. Anyway i spot a parralel road and use that for a bit but am then forced to manhandle the bike across an obstructed bridge to rejoin the track. the main advantage of the track is it takes me off the very busy dual carriageway.

Anyway after a while the track turns towards the road and meets the old road. this looks like a promising route. The map is silent on this with no detail. I follow ...
