    White as snow...

A travel blog entry by christie-lee on Mar 12, 2015

So had a good week skiing! Improved my skiing technique heaps and got a lot more confident! The mountains are really close by, I have one that's a 2 minute walk from my accommodation! The mountains are massive! So many different runs to do and I'm happy to say I did all of them! (On the mountain I spent most of days on). I went to Axamer Lizum and did a total of an hour skiing :/ it was snowing that heavy that I couldn't see where I was going and everyone disappeared off into the ...

    A day out in Innsbruck!

... it is closer to Switzerland which was my next stop so I decided to get on that. Before I left I was able to wash all my clothes and pick up my ripped pants from the shop. Another guy from the contiki was also going to Innsbruck so we booked the same hostel. We got dropped off on the ...

Austria is where schnapps comes from and of course they are very famous for it. The liquor is made 40 km away ...

... some people can't even find a seat, it's that packed. The afternoon is becoming evening and we are happy enough to make our way back across Munich to our apartment and call it a day, we have an early off in the morning. One thing we don't have is a working TV, first day the satellite went down, we called to get it fixed, but to be honest have not missed it at all, perhaps that's because it only had two English channels anyway More ...

... pros and were not used at all in our lesson - don't bother hiring them on day one.

From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.

The views from here over the ...
