Our own little island
Lola Island in Vona Vona Lagoon is our hideaway for the next few days. As the only guests at the resort we have the entire island to ourselves.
Life here consists of swimming, kayaking and snorkelling. We soon see the 'local' Black Tip sharks. Swimming in the shallows they appear to be on beach patrol, making sure that our slice of paradise is not disturbed.
Cyclone Atu
Cyclone Atu appears to have moved away from Vanuatu at the last possible moment. However, the weekly Air Pacific flight we caught to Honiara last week has been cancelled. It would appear we left Vila at just the right time!

Fresh fruit and island exploration
