... Hindu and yellow=Muslim. Varkala is perched almost perilously along the edge of dizzying cliffs. It is naturally very beautiful with a strand of golden beach nuzzling the bottom of the cliff edge. The beach has a really strong current and is one of the most dangerous beaches in Kerala and fatalities have been known. For this reason we did not visit the beach often here. ... young children all dressed the part. This town was one of the best original beach resorts in Kerela.We manage to buy a couple of tops for Sue, and we banter with all the shopkeepers.
