... everywhere you look -- from the medieval, cobble-stoned streets, the chiesas (churches) and castles, ceramics and arts, to the mountains and sea!

Food, conference, accommodation all included in my 500Euros registration for the week. The food was a pleasant surprise -- each one a two-course meal of local cuisine with different restaurants. I love seafood and there's no shortage in Sicily!

Sicily never fails to amaze with its ancient monuments. Segesta and Selinunte were a fascinating day trip. Both were built around 400 centuries BC, the earliest and most important Greek colonies in Sicily.

I think I am finished with the help x side of things for this trip. The last host here I think was and would have been bearable... its a very different way of life, not integrating with modern society and working and cooking with what they have is all very well, but for me, right now, it's not so good.
