From Rotterdam on the ferry, slight hiccup over where we were supposed to be picked up from, rainy Hull, taxi ride, walk around some shops and an emergency phone purchase...we eventually made it to Beverley. The most unexpected thing happened, Andree loved it! I began looking at my home town from the perspective of a tourist, and I suppose I loved it too. Moving south again today to just past Almeria for the night at La Garrofa at www.lagarrofa.com. Enjoying an excellent cafe con leche in La Parada, a huge service station on the old N340 but a class above anything in the UK for service, coffee and ...
