Swarovski crystal originated here and so that was also a big shopping draw. Their most recent orb for Christmas is exquisite!
While in Munich, I took a side trip without Jon to Salzburg, Austria. I've always wanted to visit Salzburg ever since I saw the "Sound of Music". Our ...

The car is parked until we leave on Thursday.

Bree and I left thinking that while it would have been really fun to stay in for a couple nights it definitely isn’t something we could see ourselves living in long term. A WARM BREKKY, yay! Most the breakfasts we have had have been ham, cheese, bread and one variety of cereal or yoghurt. Bags were chucked on the bus and off for Venice. We drove through the Austrian alps via the Brenner pass to Italy. We arrived at our contiki based "camp site" for the night and it was stinking hot. We had an hour to chill out then we got on the ferry to cross ...
