We visited Zia Giaconda this morning and ended up staying for lunch. She had puréed tomatoes, made meatballs and ordered up some fresh bread in the hopes that we would stay. She said if I helped her, we could have pasta with meatballs and fresh tomato salad so I donned the apron she made me put on and did as I was told! They were given some 6 years ago when the restaurant opened and they add to it every day to keep it active. If the person that does this is on holidays, someone else is entrusted to take their place.
