    We had a chilled weekend and this evening we went for a walk down on the local beach and took some more photos back up to the village in which we are staying. Years ago it was a major venue for mass bridge tournaments so it is called the "Villagio Dei Bridge" - but now it has a few full time residents, but most of the apartments are either holiday homes or no longer used.     ... As you can see from the map we are on the edge of a national park, so the scenery around us is fantastic, and not what we expected.     ... exceptionally hot. Go figure. The hottest September they have ever had. It was 35 degrees in the afternoon. Mornings and evenings are the best time to go to the beach. We are right beside the restaurant Il Pergolato. The food and service is exceptional beyond words!!!!!!!!!! Any seafood or dish imaginable is available.     ... tricky question to answer. So we just went for medium.

    It turned out we had agreed to a sort of mini banquet. It was nice but we were really tired by now and so ate up and then headed back to our B&B where we still couldn't get to our room before having to share a Limoncello with the owner.

    In the end we finally re entered our room at 10:30pm.
