What a fresh air far away from Tehran
Today we have visited the village of Mojen. 8 km after Mojen there is a small, but steep waterfall in a very narrow gorge. To get close we had to walk into the gorge. But no fun without any pain. The water was pretty cold, I guess about 10°C, so we took the shoes off and walked in the cold water into the gorge. We had to walk for approx. 10 meters, and the water was not very deep. PHALLIC TOMBSTONES
A dear friend, Emad, sent me a link few months ago about an ancient cemetery located near Kalaleh in the GOLESTAN Province of Iran and the GOLESTAN NATIONAL PARK. I was so intrigued by the photos of the phallic tombstones. I promised myself to see them at all cost, so when I went back to Iran for business, I made sure to allot some time for exploration.

on our way back from the ancient pagan cemetery towards Gorgan, i saw the sign GONBAD-E-KAVUS. i immediately asked Aref to turnback and go to to have another adventure in Gonbad-E-Kavus. the drive is about 30 kms from the highway passing through wheat fileds and quiet brick villages.
