... me to a concert last weekend and bought me a Minnie Mouse bow that lights up and flashes red and blue. I wore that around Martyr's Park while drinking baijiu with orange and strawberry juice and watching people dance.
A little baby was really interested in my light up bow, so I gave it to him and now I don't have it anymore. This is the last existing photo of my Minnie bow.
... and had a mango popsicle for my reward. The haze was bad today and it was really hot, so the mango popsicle was extra delicious and there weren't any really nice views at the top. I tried to get some nice photos, but it didn't really work out.
Friday night is Diner's Club night, so after going home and showering, we had our second meeting. We had six people already, so I think that's a good sign for the upcoming weeks!
... Also I've had some time to make semidecent lesson plans so that might have some bearing on matters. When the kids are naughty (which they all pretty much are, every lesson - but then the younger ones have shorter attention spans!) you have a few options: 1) you can shout in English, and expect the TA to translate 2) you can fold your arms in front of you and yell '1,2,3!' to which the kids respond '4,4,4!' , fold their arms, and sit straight - well, they do if you yell loud ...
... me use her phone and convince various authorities to let me have this job in Zhuzhou (which I had been informally offered by a Chinese friend.) So all in all, feeling very blessed to be here, and hoping and praying that after 3 weeks in China of constantly moving about, I can finally settle here!

Check it out guys, my awesome new apartment. I am moving on up. China doesn't pay as well as Korea, but the perks are amazing.
My room has only one bedroom, but I get an office and awesome living room on the very top floor. I'm in the PENTHOUSE!
There is also a wondrous rooftop patio just next to my place, which will be the place for lunches and parties in the future, I'm sure.
